A Life Of Metaphors
Make the most out of every moment you're given.
Live your life like no-one is watching.
If you do what you want, then the rest won't matter.
We hear little lines like these from people, fortune cookies, and self help books, all our lives. We hear it from the advice givers, and maybe it makes an impact, for a minute or two, maybe the words will linger in your thoughts for a couple of days, inspiring you to do something you otherwise would not have done. But eventually, more important things are brought into attention, deadlines are set, schedules to keep, dishes need cleaning, alarm clocks are set, worries are had and life goes on. Your tho
Being loud enough for people to hear you is hard.
It's much easier to keep your thoughts in your head, and just carry on.
Because disturbing the normal could hurt you in the long run.
Letting what you know people want to hear out of your mouth, is simple.
So you push your problems down.
You say the things that won't disturb your good enough life.
And in time, your conviction will lose its strength and importance.
But one day you wake up,
And you find that you've been saying what others want to hear for so long,
That your life isn't even your own.
You are living a life that's expected from you.
And you will push it down and event
Privacy,
It's what we do or don't tell people.
It's our secrets.
It's our conversations.
It's our little white lies.
But... when it's invaded?
Our whole individual world can crumble.
Relationships end.
Relatives are discarded.
Friendships can dissolve.
When you think about it, peoples lives are based on what they do or don't tell people.
Thoughts. Feelings.
Regrets. Obligations.
Plans. Dreams.
Secrets and Impulses.
Sometimes it's because they just don't need to know,
Sometimes it's because you know they would judge you.
Sometimes it's because you are going behind their back.
But that's for you to know.
You and you alone.
What defines who am I?
The things that I obsess over?
What I'm involved in?
The music I listen to?
Who I hope I become?
Comic book hero's,
Science fiction and supernatural T.V. shows,
Vampires and superhero's.
Things that can never be.
I'm only really talented in drama,
But not talented enough to be recognized for it.
Always supporting and never in the spot light.
Forever in the background.
My music is weird
Not liked by the people around me usually,
And I don't just like one genre,
I give anything a try really.
So it can't really say much about me.
I don't know who I am going to become.
I don't know what I want to be.
Whe
It's been said before,
I don't know how to deal with my anger.
There is the trigger
The spark
The flint
And I boom
Explode
Combust
Before I know it,
Red hot lava is coursing through my body,
Coming straight from my core,
Shooting out my lips.
I say things I don't mean.
I say things I do.
I say things I'll regret,
Just to let out the anger that has been
Festering
Collecting
Growing
Until my bank of anger is dry
I'm all out of bullets
I'm left with the destruction around me
Left with the consequences that are mine.
When you log off late at night,
After all our good bye's,
And the last word is said.
A plug is pulled
And the golden happy liquid
That just filled my chest,
Drains straight right out of me,
Leaving me empty.
When you walk out the door,
And I grab one last final kiss,
Before watching you walk away.
Yet again I am drained,
Longing floods in through my watchful eyes.
Wishing not to be left behind.
Wanting for just a little more time.
I'm left with weak breath,
And sigh-ing words.
A tingling body,
That aches for only you.
Having to close my eyes and focus
To recover from the haze
To blow the smoke away
So that I can focus

No-One Said Love Was Easy...
The romances that we remember never come easy.
We remember the romances, where they die in the end.
We remember, the "Can never be together" 's.
We remember the faint looks across the room.
The forbidden, growing romances.
The "meant-to-be" 's.
We want the forever flirtation.
And the instant connection.
We want the hidden flames.
And the, against all odds.

Icing Powder World
I open the door,
And my world is transformed.
No longer is there grass on my front lawn,
Or chalk drawings on my driveway.
While I slept,
The elves were busy,
Sprinkling icing sugar over my small world.
Making my world untouched again,
Till my footprints tear it apart.

I am gonna create a new deviant art account! I have always hated the username I picked, it was fine when I just fav stuff, but I want people to take my poems more seriously, so I'm going to repost my poems onto a my new account... and keep this one for my fav's cuz they are gold and I love them... I hope this is allowed.... I don't have the money to upgrade so I can change my name all legit like... so hopefully this isn't gonna get me in trouble....
I finally decided to join some groups and add my poems too them, in hopes of a little more recognition. besides that I have been... alright, I guess. I don't know. I'll get back to you. I just needed to update my journal the last one was almost a year old.
